What would happen to the world if you were happier and free from stress, anxiety, negativity and uncertainty?

I have spent the last 25 years helping others to get to where they want to be.

I’ve spent the last 5 years helping others make an impact.

I’ve spent the last year purely focussed on helping people to build a future they want.

What’s the difference?

You might see a shift in someone in terms of confidence and happiness. You might see them delivering more, setting boundaries, and being clearer on what they want.

Internally, my clients say they feel less anxious, more focussed and more confident because they know that to build a future they want means understanding that work, life, and business are the same.

It’s the smaller steps that quite often go unnoticed by those around them, or at least the less attentive. These smaller steps, these micro-shifts in thinking, behaviour, and action are taking them to a place they want to be. Some happen instantly, others it’s a long game.

I regularly hear phrases such as:

  • I didn’t think it was possible.
  • I have no idea how this works, but it has.
  • Where did that come from? I never thought I had that in me.
  • I honestly thought I needed therapy because I just can’t see past this. Yet I want to do this. I believe in this. But maybe I’m not cut out for it.
  • I didn’t think I had it in me.
  • Wow, I finally know where I am going, and why.

Do you recognise this self-talk?

These phrases are from clients I’ve worked with one-to-one. When I work in teams, it’s even more impactful – vision, steps, reality, openness, and leadership are some of the outcomes.

Where does it start?

“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now”, Chinese proverb

It starts often with one of these questions – What would you like to happen, or What do you want?

And out pops, I don’t know. And they *shuffle uncomfortably*.

I know that feeling. I remember the first time I admitted why I wanted to build a better future with clients.

Who am I to say that?

Yet here I am, in it for the long game because I am committed to building a better and intentional future.

The ripple effect you have is immeasurable when you master the true meaning of your leadership.

I invite you to ask yourself these questions:

1. What kind of impact could you have?
2. What beliefs do you have about building the future you want?
3. How might living the future you want align with your personal values?

The best way to build your future is start with you in the future right now.
